Volunteers from the Church of the Holy Spirit held a “garden party” last weekend to get the grounds tidied up and ready for winter. It was a beautiful day to be outside and get your hands dirty.
All of the gardens around the church and parish hall were weeded, mulched, trimmed, and dead-headed. Spring flowering bulbs were planted around the sign garden and in the courtyard, so we’ll all have some fantastic color to look forward to in the spring.
A major sweep was made through the rectory grounds and three truckloads of trimmings were taken to the dump.
Many thanks to all who joined in!
