The Outreach Committee is sponsoring a food drive on April 13/14 and 20/21 to benefit the Lower Cape Outreach Council food pantries (there is one in each town on the Lower Cape), whose shelves are quite bare. LCOC helps our friends and neighbors who are in need.

We will have grocery bags, decorated by our Church School children, available at each Church entrance the week before. Please fill your bag with the food items suggested below and bring it back on one of those two weekends. Can we reach 100 bags?

Items needed include canned peaches, canned pears, canned pineapple, canned fruit salad, canned tuna or salmon, canned chicken or ham, chili, beef stew, baked beans, Spaghetti-O’s, peanut butter, jelly, pancake mix, cooking oil, mayonnaise, ketchup, dish detergent (liquid), hand soap (bars, paper towels, and toilet paper.
